You will work as part of a highly skilled Engineering division supporting all aspects of HV and LV services to our clients and customers. As part of our team, you will support your peers in the delivery of all scheduled works, providing support and ensuring the functions of team’s systems, planning / maintaining training, and selection of tools and equipment. You will support and maintain our agile methodologies, resolving scheduling clashes or queries, support open and free flowing communications and to lead projects when required.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the UK services industry, covering HV or LV works across sectors including private HV/LV networks, DNO’s, IDNO’s or ICP’s. The role will work closely with our PMO team in the delivery of projects under the strategic direction of the Head of department.

We strive forwards as a team advancing our technical skills, knowledge, and competencies together, whilst ensuring a flexible work life balance is worked into our ethos.

You will be working with a team of skilled LV/HV Engineers, SAP’s, managers and supporting staff across all aspects of the power industry. The role is a balance of home based, site visits and working from one of our offices. The core hours are 07:30 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 am to 12:00 Friday.

Depending on operational work and site requirements, additional hours will be required to ensure managerial support is provided throughout the range of a flexible working week.

Driving growth of our UK Energy Services business, through supporting all aspects of operational work from Sales through to Programme completion, working closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

• Assist with Energy Services Budget development to include for staff development and projections for training requirements

• Manage multi-disciplined teams, and individuals, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard ensuring compliance, quality, safety, cost and delivery.

• Manage and support individuals to ensure each person can achieve their potential.

• Support the team in managing customer communications, expectations, and future opportunities.

• Manage the application of scheduling, coordinate site work, and logistics, with a range of engineers, sub-contractors, and utility companies.

• Ensure work programme is efficiently utilised, supporting the delivery team through having the right skills and availability within the engineering team to deliver the order book/ work bank.

• Assist in the delivery of a range of projects and small works. These will be overseen by the PMO team but close collaboration is needed.

• Assist in developing customer and subcontractor relationships attending meetings where required.

• Support Engineering team with H&S documents and job packs as required.

• Supporting out of hours calls as required.

Assist with the delivery of works / project supervision.

• Input Operational deliverables into Energy Services business plan

• Management of KPI’s for Operational Deliverables

• Management of Compliance, Environmental and Business KPI’s

• Budget Management

• Management of Operational Assets

Experience in delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment.

• Proven track record of experience in the Electrical and/or distribution Industry.

• Good knowledge of LV/HV engineering, outage planning, SAP duties, construction planning, site management and logistics.

• Computer literate - skilled in all of MS office, MS Project

• Technically qualified with a BTEC, C&G, HNC in engineering, project management or similar fields.

• Full driver’s License, willingness to travel as required to support team and individuals.

Training - Project management, Agile, ISO9001, ISO45001, NEBOSH, SMSTS

• Willingness to assist in out of hours call rota.

• Assist in the delivery of work as overtime or time in lieu.

Ability to inspire and drive the best performance from individuals.
