We require a Business Change Lead to cover an existing workload within Metropolitan Police , based in Kilburn Police Station (Hybrid working).

This role offers a competitive salary of £54,460 per annum.

THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION.

Job Purpose:

  • Manage the Business Change framework, to align business change activity to project and programme management lifecycles and governance and to ensure consistency in the delivery of change, so that change lands well, new ways of working are embedded, and benefits delivered, to support the CT Policing Executive, SROs and Project Executives.
  • Develop business change toolkits and guidance to ensure change interventions are identified and addressed to help realise benefits across the national CT network and MPS Specialist Operations.
  • Manage ongoing reviews and development of project and programme business change processes and templates to ensure they are current.
  • Provide support in upskilling project teams and the Regional Change network in Business Change principles and practice.

Skills and experience needed to be successful in this role:

  • Prosci: Change Practitioner.
  • AMPG: Change Management Practitioner.
  • CV must clearly demonstrate experience with change impact assessments and business readiness.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the theory and practical application of Change Management (including assessing impact of change, ensuring business readiness and dealing with resistance, and effecting behavioural/culture change).
  • Experience of providing advice / consultancy on business change to influence decision makers, develop solutions and improve performance
  • Experience of facilitating groups (including senior leadership teams), balancing conflicting opinions, building consensus as necessary.
  • Experience of listening and understanding to the needs and experiences of customers and using these to develop solutions or interventions to achieve organisational outcomes.
  • Knowledge of programme and project management approaches such as MSP, PRINCE2 and Agile.
  • Experience of managing a complex set of tasks and prioritisation, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of leading a team of Change Managers and providing guidance and quality control of their work.
