Role:

Experience Requirements:
  • Proficient in programming and operating Hurco vertical machining centres
  • Competent with VISI/CAD CAM and/or Machining strategist programming software
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship or relevant on the job experience
  • Ability to programme and operate Haas vertical machining centres (Desirable)
  • Experience with setting and operating multi axis machining centres (Desirable)
  • Experience with manual machine tools. Mill, Lathe, Surface grinders (Desirable
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Competent in the reading and interpreting of Engineering drawings
  • Display excellent problem solving abilities
  • Good general IT skills including Microsoft office
  • Ability to build effective team relationships
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
  • Self motivated with can do attitude
