User Experience Designer

This role is focused on elevating the digital presence of an artist studio and residency space in Setúbal by redesigning its website for improved aesthetics, structure, and user experience. The project requires a creative professional with a strong eye for detail to reimagine the UI, refine the use of fonts, colors, spacing, and layout, and enhance the overall navigation and information flow. The ideal candidate will deliver a cohesive and elegant design that resonates with the artistic community and ensures a seamless experience across both desktop and mobile platforms.
Audit of the existing website to identify design and usability issues
Enhanced UX focusing on navigation, page flow, and information clarity
Home, Residency, Workshops, Events, Artist Profiles, and Contact
Design assets and comprehensive guidelines for implementation on Squarespace
Proven experience in web and UI/UX design, preferably for creative or cultural organizations
Advanced proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Squarespace design systems
Ability to conduct thorough website audits and translate findings into actionable design improvements
Ability to deliver clear design documentation and assets for developer handoff
Availability to start immediately and complete the project within agreed timelines
