Spire Norwich Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join our Staffing Bank. You will be joining a dynamic and experienced nursing team on our Inpatients/Surgical Wards.
Spire Norwich Hospital holds a long-standing reputation for providing high quality, comprehensive private hospital care. Our facilities are excellent and the hospital is staffed by a valued team of highly skilled professionals. We have 4 theatres, 2 wards, comprising of 50 beds, and deliver a range of outpatient services through our busy and dynamic outpatient and diagnostic imaging departments providing a progressive and stimulating environment for our highly motivated team.
Candidates will be NMC registered and should be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional standards of patient centred care within a fast paced clinical environment. Those applying should be able to work effectively as a team member as well as an autonomous practitioner.
Duties and responsibilities
- You will be working on the inpatients/surgical ward as part of our nursing team.
- Be responsible for delivering pre and post-operative care to the range of surgical specialities that are cared for.
- Additional responsibilities are also afforded all staff in order to ensure a competent and efficiently run ward.
Who we're looking for
- Current NMC Registration.
- Flexibility
- Surgical and wound care experience is essential.
- Minimum of 3-4 years post registration experience on a surgical ward.
- Passion for providing clinically excellent care.
- Willingness to grow, develop and innovate in their practice.
