Our client are a leading Isle of Man-based firm of Advocates with divisions across the legal arena and are now seeking an experienced Secretary to join and become an integral part of the team. In this role the Secretary will provide secretarial support across the departments within the busy firm. The work covers many different areas and you would be part of a team consisting of two other secretaries . Duties will include:
- Audio typing, preparing, and amending draft documents
- Making and receiving telephone calls and dealing with emails
- Making appointments and assisting with queries
- Photocopying, filing and general office duties including opening files and preparing completed file storage
- Providing reception cover when needed
- Experience as a secretary and understanding of the need for confidentiality
- Well-organised, careful, conscientious approach
- Punctual and efficient, with strong communication skills both with colleagues and clients
- A team player, but with the ability to use initiative to work independently
- Good literacy skills and numeracy skills
