We are recruiting for Children’s Residential Support Workers close to Kendal, Cumbria, on behalf of an inspirational children’s provider. This is a permanent job vacancy.

This Children’s Support Worker job vacancy would suit any candidate living close to Kendal just off either the A6, A66, A590, A591 or M6. Full-time hours, 39-hours per week (various shifts).

* Part-time hours also available.

* This a unique opportunity to work for a children’s home rated Good by OFSTED. Our client is family-run and has over 20 years-experience and an exceptional proven track record in providing therapeutic residential care and allowing the children to grow emotionally and socially. They provide excellent education on site to help them with everyday life skills and to help them move towards a positive future.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will help turn around the lives of children who have suffered abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, or extreme trauma in a therapeutic manner. You will help to create a safe environment for the young people, helping them to grow socially and emotionally, teach them life skills, and be part of fun activities such as trips out.

Minimum 1-year experience of working with Children & Young People - essential.

* Level 3 Children & Young People / Children’s Residential Care/Workforce or be willing to work towards.

* Car Driver - essential.
