Working for a family owned Plant, tool and powered access hire company with 5 locations across the midlands. They also have a specialist training department offering courses in PASMA, IPAF.
Weekly bank reconciliation & liaison with bank
Staff payroll - monthly & pension submission
Contractor payroll - weekly & pension submission
HMRC submissions and payments (CIS, PAYE & NIC, VAT)
Quarterly Group VAT data submission to accountants / review & payment.
Balance sheet reconciliation
Raising of sales invoices and associated credit control
In addition to the normal accounting duties, they are looking for someone that can so some business analysis for them to help them grow the business and become more profitable. Accountancy qualification (part qualified will be considered)
· Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
· Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage etc.
