Senior Finance Business Partner (up to £85k + package)

We are currently partnering with a leading security organisation who are looking for an experienced finance professional to join their team as they continue to grow.

This individual will be managing two people and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Supporting PMs to develop robust EACs and project margins
  • Support in the preparation, presentation and delivery of annual budget and strategic planning processes
  • Ensure effective processes are in place to accurately cost products and services and manage gross margin maximisation
  • Partner PMs to create monthly Project Reporting Dashboards. Take accountability for financial reporting materials and metrics as required by the MD and the FD.
  • Ensure that the finance team maintain financial records and systems in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and are compliant with local and governmental reporting requirements and that provisioning is appropriate for the level of risk.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience/Qualifications:

  • Technically competent with impact awareness of specialist areas including controls and governance, audit, ethics and risk management.
  • Experience in the defence contracting industry and government contracting regulations.
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • IT literate
  • CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • IFS desirable however not necessary
  • DV/SC clearance desirable
