Brief about the position:

This team implements automation and industrial software solutions for turbomachinery and industrial assets. The team serves many industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, and Power Generation all around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the timely delivery of the agreed technical scope of supply as defined by the lead engineer.
  2. Interpret customer technical specifications and generate strategies for implementation.
  3. Work on system design and implementation of control logic strategies and HMI interface within the project team.
  4. Do the necessary sizing of the proposed system; generating bill of materials, required licenses, network architecture, drawings, etc.
  5. Ensure technical compliance to customers' specification related to assigned areas of work.
  6. Perform testing with customers in staging facility and on customer sites.
  7. Start-up of the delivered systems and machinery commissioning.
Qualifications - External
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering major: e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, etc.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Process Automation and Control.
  • Sound knowledge needed to develop PLC control logic in FB or ladder diagram methods.
  • The ability to read and work with engineering documents and drawings, e.g. P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams, Cause & Effect, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of automation and control methodologies, devices, and instruments.
  • Fluent in English language.
  • Great abilities in learning and self-study.
  • Can easily work within a team.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High flexibility to travel abroad.
  • Experience with Schneider automation and control products, e.g. Triconex, Foxboro, Modicon, InTouch, Machine SCADA Expert.
  • Experience with electrical systems, e.g., AVR, Generator Controls, Protection Relays, etc.
  • Experience with AVEVA products, e.g., APA, MOR, OSM, etc.
  • Can work comfortably with simulation software, e.g. Dyn Sim, APS, etap, Simulink, etc.
  • Basics of reliability and asset performance management.
  • Good knowledge of networks, servers, cyber security practices, databases, API building.
