Project: Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a permanent basis. You will play a pivotal role in a brand-new multi-million pound Power Transmission Framework project. Duration: You will initially be based in the head office on the outskirts of Glasgow. All accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the contractor.

Manage the commercial aspects of power sector projects, ensuring strict cost control and budgeting.
Collaborate with teams for accurate cost forecasting, financial reporting, and procurement strategies.
Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify savings and efficiencies.
Administer contracts and effectively manage subcontractor relationships.
Provide expert advice on contractual issues, resolve disputes, and mitigate risks.
Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Proven experience in the construction or power sector as a Quantity Surveyor.
In-depth understanding of construction contracts and procurement.
