Job Overview:

Astera is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our team and take a leading role in advancing the company’s vision. This position combines deep technical expertise with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and support leadership in managing operations and stakeholder relationships.

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders and internal teams to analyze, design, and enhance our technology platforms. You will also contribute to the broader direction of the company by ensuring that our solutions remain at the forefront of industry standards and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Analyst Role:

• Lead the analysis, design, and evolution of Astera’s platforms, ensuring they meet technical and functional requirements.

• Conduct in-depth system analysis to enhance performance, functionality, and security.

• Collaborate with development teams to define technical specifications, system requirements, and updates based on user feedback and industry trends.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, serving as the primary point of contact for high-priority clients.

• Ensure seamless integration of features for monitoring contracts, production, sales, assets, and financial transactions.

• Provide technical documentation, training, and ongoing support to enable effective use of Astera’s platforms by clients and internal teams.

Leadership and Strategic Contributions:

• Work alongside senior leadership to guide the strategic development of Astera’s solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and market opportunities.

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and clients, ensuring their needs are effectively met.

• Lead initiatives to drive product innovation and market expansion, positioning Astera as a leader in the energy technology space.

• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

• Contribute to operational planning, resource allocation, and project prioritization to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in systems analysis, with expertise in software development and architecture, preferably in the energy or regulatory sector.

• Proven ability to lead technical projects and collaborate with diverse teams.

• Strong technical background with experience in troubleshooting complex systems and implementing scalable solutions.

• Familiarity with regulatory processes, especially in the energy sector, is highly desirable.

• Exceptional project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage stakeholder expectations, and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire teams and drive strategic initiatives.
