Job Title: Business Service Engineer

Hours - 37 Hours per week (Monday to Friday) - Hybrid (Flexible with home / office working

Daily Rate: £18.45 PAYE per hour

We are currently seeking an experience Business Service Engineer to join our client's team in Redditch on a 12 week contract (possible extension) basis. As an Business Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of cyclical maintenance, service and monitoring of Mechanical and electrical systems to comply with all current statutory regulations and good building maintenance practices.

To ensure efficiency, effectiveness and equality in service delivery.

* To provide outstanding customer services to all customers, colleagues, elected Members etc. In particular by building trust, taking responsibility and assuming ownership of issues, actively listening, communicating with empathy and being flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of others.

* To understand and comply with the legal requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and any other relevant regulations as detailed in the Council’s Health and Safety Policy Statement.

* To carry out duties and responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 1998; in particular, to take all reasonable care that no unauthorised loss or disclosure of personal data occurs.

Significant experience within a property environment, particularly in Commercial and Public buildings

* Experience working in a Mechanical Engineering environment within the property sector

* Familiarity with financial and Contractual Regulations related to property management

* Proficiency in administration of records management and/or financial systems

* Demonstrable proficiency with IT packages and web-based applications

* Awareness of Data Protection Act, confidentiality, and Freedom of Information regulations

* Experience in dealing with complex complaints and continuous issues

* Proficiency in producing building contract documentation

* Experience and knowledge of production of CDM (Construction, Design, and Management) documentation

* Understanding of Data Protection and Freedom of Information principles and regulations

Competitive daily rate.

* Potential for extension or permanent employment based on performance.
