We are a London-based tech company revolutionising the AR/VR space with one of the most ambitious projects to date. Backed by top-tier VC funds, we’re rapidly scaling a team of industry leaders from Meta, Google, Spotify, Uber, and BCG.

We’re seeking a Gaming Community & Social Media Specialist Intern to help shape and grow the voice of our VR social media platform. You’ll focus on managing our gaming communities, primarily on Discord, and spearhead our social media efforts, from ideation to editing. This role is perfect for someone passionate about gaming culture, AR/VR technology, and creating dynamic, engaging digital content.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage & Grow Gaming Communities: Lead the growth, moderation, and engagement of our Discord server and other gaming-focused communities, fostering an inclusive and exciting environment.
  • Create and Execute Social Media Content: Ideate, script, edit, and post captivating social content across platforms, with a special focus on gaming-related trends and user engagement.
  • Collaborate on Campaigns: Work closely with founders, the product manager, and the Social Media team to align gaming and social media strategies.
  • Analyze & Optimize: Track and analyze community and social media performance to continually refine our strategy for user acquisition and retention.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with the latest in gaming, AR/VR, and social media trends to bring innovative ideas to the table.

What We’re Looking For
  • Gaming Enthusiast: You live and breathe gaming culture, with a strong understanding of how gamers interact on platforms like Discord, Twitch, and TikTok.
  • Social Media Savvy: Prior experience managing social media accounts, creating content, or editing videos for digital platforms is a must.
  • Community Builder: You love connecting with people and fostering vibrant online communities. Experience managing Discord servers or other gaming communities is highly desirable.
  • Creative Storyteller: You can craft engaging narratives through videos, memes, posts, or any other medium that resonates with gaming audiences.
  • AR/VR Interest: You’re excited about the future of AR/VR technology and how it intersects with gaming.
  • Adaptable Self-Starter: Comfortable navigating the fast-paced environment of a startup and taking initiative to make things happen.
