Job Description:

Introduction

Dentsu is an integrated growth and transformation partner to the world's leading organizations. Founded in 1901 in Tokyo, Japan, and now present in over 145 countries and regions, it has a proven track record of nurturing and developing innovations, combining the talents of its global network of leadership brands to develop impactful and integrated growth solutions for clients. Dentsu delivers end-to-end experience transformation (EX) by integrating its services across Media, CXM and Creative, while its business transformation (BX) mindset pushes the boundaries of transformation and sustainable growth for brands, people and society.

Carat is an important part of our world-class offering - an award-winning media, content and branding agency that uses its peerless understanding of the passions, motivations, and behaviours of real people to bring brands and their customers together. Carat is privileged to work with some of the most eminent companies in the world.

Purpose of the Role

As Digital Partner (Media) you'll own the day-to-day client digital relationship and all elements of delivery across both brand and performance planning. This will include setting the digital transformation agenda, implementation of the strategic vision for the client, delivery against financial targets set and building a trusted relationship with the client. The client is a leading supermarket brand who is forward thinking in terms of their approach to media and communications with ambitious long term growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative and ambitious, strategic digital solutions that balance client and agency values working closely with colleagues and clients.
  • Work alongside the Digital MD to set the digital transformation agenda.
  • Build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor with senior client and industry stakeholders, deepening relationships to ensure retention and growth.
  • Immerse yourself and team in clients' business: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, competitive threats and relevant partner agencies; knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like; knows client's products inside out and applies this knowledge to deliver innovative, ambitious client plans and service.
  • Identify growth opportunities for the client as well as Carat.
  • Deliver digital thought leadership.
  • Work with dentsu tools and systems to deliver seamless execution and efficiency in delivery.

Qualifications + Skills

  • Strong digital strategy understanding with ability to talk confidently with the client on how their different digital platforms are delivering against the media plan and KPIs.
  • Experience with leading digital development transformation for clients within a media agency.
  • Personable, confident with engaging key stakeholders with strong communication skills across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle the fast pace of business with enthusiasm for the brands you represent.
  • Keen eye of detail and strong management skills, someone who can bring their team along with them and help them develop.
  • Experience with latest platforms and technologies would be of benefit (such as clean rooms and CDPs) with evidence of deployment to client benefit.

What we offer

This is a permanent role and can be based in our London office, operating under flexible working arrangements. The team are typically in the office twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday with flexibility needed for client visits.
As well as a competitive salary, you'll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.

For us, this is the foundation for great innovation which, in turn, generates better outcomes for our people, partners and communities. This is why we encourage applications from people with disabilities, and of all ages, nationalities, backgrounds and cultures.
