MR Physics within the radiation protection section in NHS Highland in Scotland is expanding and we are looking to recruit a new permanent B7 physicist to support our growing MR service provision and for potential support towards other areas of non-ionising physics. We are seeking a HCPC registered clinical scientist but there is potential to appoint someone currently in training or working towards HCPC registration.

The post will have a focus on supporting cardiac MR and advanced oncological imaging as well as the general aspects of clinical MR service support for both NHS Highland and surrounding Island Health boards. It is an exciting time with current investment in place for installation of a new MR simulator for radiotherapy.

The post is based in the vibrant city of Inverness (yes, it is a city), nestled in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. With mountains, amazing beaches, and a ski resort all within an hour of inverness, the city is consistently voted in the top 5 happiest places in the UK and has one of the fastest growing populations in Europe. It also has great connectivity with Inverness Airport just 15 minutes away from the city centre offering flights to many UK destinations.

The closing date for the post is 24 th April with interviews planned for 12 th May
