We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our team within Vistry Devon South West, at our Exeter office. As our Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the regional finance team in maintaining accurate and timely information in our systems to ensure that the region can progress towards achieving its objectives. You will assist in the provision of internal reporting and financial control. We are pleased to say, this role can accommodate agile working arrangements. Behave in line with our company values - Integrity, Caring and Quality Strong GCSE's Currently Studying for a Financial Qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA etc) IT literate including MS Excel/Outlook Experience in a Finance role Able to work within a small Finance team Ability to resolve and reconcile issues with limited supervision. Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative Time management and organizational skills to manage workload Ability to communicate to all stakeholders, both internally and externally Ability to work as part of a wider teamDesirable - Strong A Levels in applicable subjects AAT Qualified COINS finance system experience More about the Assistant Management Accountant role... Posting and reconciling of bank accounts. Producing and analysing monthly cost reports. Recharge invoicing for Joint Ventures. Updating of actuals for the weekly cash forecast to Group. Regular chasing and reporting of outstanding debtors. Balance sheet, cashbook & house sales reconciliations. Assist in maintaining timely and accurate plot data on COINS. Process sundry payments ensuring they have correct approval and cost coding Raising month end journals as required and assisting with Management Accounts reconciliations Support with collation of audit data requirements Supporting the finance team as required.
