Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, desserts. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Duties: Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, and breads according to established recipes and standards Decorate pastries using various techniques to create visually appealing presentations Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain freshness and quality Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute pastry orders in a timely manner Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and notify the Chef or Sous Chef when supplies need to be replenished Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area Assist in training new pastry team members as needed Experience: 'Minimum Two AA rosettes experience': The chef must show greater technical skill, more consistency and judgement in combining and balancing ingredients, and have a clear ambition to achieve high standards. Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or bakery setting Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality pastries Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Creativity and attention to detail in pastry decoration If you have a passion for creating delicious pastries and want to join a dynamic culinary team, we would love to hear from you.
