Medical cannabis has already been legalized in more than 50 countries across the world over recent years, unlocking a huge potential for medical, wellness, and ultimately recreational markets. This role is pivotal to improving the quality of care and operational efficiencies so requires motivation and passion to deliver an excellent service.
This is a fulltime onsite position to be based in our Reading office.
Initial consultations with patients to validate medical history and eligibility for CBPM treatment
Remote consultations with patients who have already been prescribed CBPM and need regular monitoring and follow up
Work closely with partner pharmacies to ensure smooth dispensing and delivery of medication to patients
Undertake clinical audits of prescribing to ensure safety and compliance to policies and procedures
Maintain accurate patients’ electronic health records as a result of a consultation or prescription.
Implement changes to medicines that result from MHRA alerts, product withdrawal and other local and national guidance
Work with the governance and operational teams to ensure the practices are compliant with CQC standards where medicines are involved
To contribute to the efficient running and profitability of the service by monitoring and auditing of medicines
To maintain all mandatory training and familiarity with company policies and SOPS
Shift based and flexible working maybe required from time to time
Attend Clinical supervision to aid reflection of practice
Ideally Undertaken CPD-accredited medical cannabis educational program. Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills and confidence at interacting with patients remotely
