We are recruiting for an Audit Manager on behalf an ambitious and growing firm of Chartered Accountants at the firms Godalming office. Due to a high demand within audit this role could be at Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager level and will be offered at an appropriate salary depending upon experience. This successful firm offers a good salary and benefits including an enhanced pension scheme, enhanced maternity/paternity pay, private medical insurance, life assurance (4 x salary), group income protection, cycle to work scheme and season ticket loan. You will also have access to other benefits through a cashplan, and the firm offers agile, hybrid working.
Working with Audit Directors and Partners, you will manage and deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion and be responsible for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients.
As Audit Manager your responsibilities:
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, liaising with them throughout the audit cycle
Managing teams through the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit engagements
Managing performance of teams, monitoring budgets and keeping the audit director and partner updated on progress
Continue developing your technical skills in all areas of the accounting and auditing standards
Keep up to date with internal policies, procedures and announcements
Other ad hoc duties in line with business requirements

Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
Have a minimum of 2-4 years experience of managing audits and audit teams
Experience of the following computer programmes is beneficial but not essential; ProAudit, Sage Accounts Production Advanced, Sage Line 50, Xero
