Providing pathways, support, and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements, and deliver to achieve more safer, integrated communities for our stakeholders.

Brighton Women’s Service launched in January 2018 and is a female-only residential project providing 9 high/complex needs beds and 9 medium needs beds. The staff teams work in close collaboration with health partners and other agencies to ensure that the combined programme of specialist support enables service users to meet their personal goals.

The Social Interest Group (SIG) believes that good care and support make for better lives. Our mission is to empower people who are marginalised by building powerful partnerships and creative solutions that bridge gaps in provision and aid recovery, reablement and resettlement.

SIG is a not-for-profit organisation, providing thousands of people with good-quality support and care in a range of residential, drop-in centres, community floating support settings (including in peoples own homes), probation settings and people who are in hospital awaiting discharge. We are looking for a team player, driven to provide high quality care and support to others, an effective communicator who is able to build rapport with others from various backgrounds. Bank Staff posts encompass key areas of responsibility, plus other duties:

* Housing and Property Management

* Liaison with the local community

* Health and Safety

* IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience is required

* Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, including in the criminal justice field, mental health, and/or substance misuse or a good understanding of the sector

* Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs

* NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care/Community Justice, or professional equivalent

* Experience of providing housing support and a practical assistance within a residential or outreach support role

* Empowerment - Giving staff and the people we support the tools, training, and information they need to achieve their potential
