We are looking for a Mechanical Site Supervisor for our client to cover a variety of sites working on decommissioning projects.

Role type: Permanent

Salary: £53,000 plus expenses including travel, lodge and overtime.

Travel: Normal Rate

Overtime:

Time and ½ - Weekdays & First 4 hours of Saturday/Non-Working weekday.

Double Time – Anything after first 4 hours of Saturday/Non-Working Weekday, Sunday working

Overview:

Responsible for the day-to-day Supervision of personnel and their sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Security procedures. (SHEQ&S).

You will be required to travel around nuclear and power sites across the UK (expenses covered), the successful candidate must be prepared to travel.

Clearance: SC Clearance is required. (if you do not hold active clearance, the client will put you through this)

Hours: start and finish times will vary from site to site, this role is full-time and Monday to Friday as standard.

Experience required:

Supervisor / Leadership experience within Decommissioning projects

Must be able to assess information, evaluate solutions and devise appropriate course of action

Able to understand and read technical documents and drawings

Able to organise and execute projects and analyse results

Risk awareness, safety focussed in control of work

Essential Qualifications:

Skilled Craftsman Trade Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in relevant Mechanical subject.

Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) or equivalent

Work at Height Training

PPE Training

Environmental Awareness

Desirable Qualifications:

R2 / C2 Training

Scaffold Safety Inspection

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safely
