Exciting Opportunity: Business Solutions Engineer

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Solutions Engineer. This role is ideal for candidates with prior experience in Project, Product, or Technical Analyst roles, who are adept at engaging with stakeholders and have ideally worked in a Business Solutions capacity before. The position offers a multi-faceted scope, requiring a broad skill set across these disciplines.

Professional experience and personal skills profile specific to the Business Solutions Analyst:

  • Strong Technical expertise with track record of understanding how technology can solve problems & provide opportunities across the Business.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn about a business area, it's processes and its business imperatives and then apply this knowledge to the project
  • Ability to quickly develop credibility & rapport with senior staff to guide & influence through the new demand process
  • Polished and professional with the ability to adapt written and verbal communication styles to people at all levels and draw out issues and requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to form good relationships
  • Highly organised, systematic and adaptable, with the ability to recognise the relative importance of tasks and to prioritise work effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Approach situations and problems positively, showing inherent flexibility and proactivity
  • You will have a hands on attitude and possess the necessary skills across project disciplines to provide an effective support service to the business
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Great at proactively identifying and solving problems
  • Commercial experience, working with 3rd parties and suppliers to provision solutions

Qualifications

Additional appropriate certifications are beneficial (including: P3O, SAFe, Less, APMP International - BA, Agile BA Practitioner, BCS Certificate in Business Analysis/Modelling Business Processes/Requirements Engineering, Scrum Master, Agile PM, Prince 2 Agile Practitioner etc)

Career Experience for the Business Solutions Analyst

  • 10 years+ working in a Project/Product Environment
  • Experience of managing both business and technical projects
  • Experience of managing Ideation & New Demand processes
  • Experience working within a 1,000+ FTE organisation
