We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Geologist or Engineering Geologist to join our Geotechnical team. As a Geologist or Engineering Geologist, you'll be supporting our experts with the testing and monitoring of building foundations at the forefront of a variety of projects. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Help prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, as well as assisting with managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment Assisting with the planning, supervision and programming of ground investigation projects at locations throughout the United Kingdom Logging of soil and rock in accordance with the specification and BS5930:2015+A1:2020 Keeping accurate field records of tasks performed Performing in-situ testing and sampling in accordance with the specification and current technical standards Liaise with clients / engineers / main contractors throughout the site works phase Post site work visits to undertake monitoring Managing and collating site data using company software systems Be able to compile factual reports Carry out work in accordance with company Health and Safety rules To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Qualified to degree level in a geotechnical discipline Full UK driving licence Computer literate and competent in use of MS Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Good attention to detail Mobility, flexibility and commitment About Geotechnical Listed in the top 10 of the GETop 100 Geotechnical companies, our highly trained skilled Geotechnical team focus on understanding the site conditions for all UK construction projects.
