The role

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Creative Design Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead our team of talented end-to-end designers, overseeing the design process from concept to production with a focus on digital design. This role requires a blend of creative vision, leadership, and technical expertise to guide our design projects to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of designers in creating innovative digital designs that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Oversee the design process from concept through to production, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including acquisition marketing, retention marketing and product.
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to the design team, helping to refine concepts and push the boundaries of digital design.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in digital design to continuously innovate and improve our design offerings.
  • Manage and mentor the design team, fostering a creative, productive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Lead by example, contributing to design projects directly when necessary and demonstrating best practices in design and leadership.
  • Ensure all design projects align with brand standards and guidelines, maintaining consistency across all digital platforms.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a design team.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of digital design work, including web, mobile, emails, banners.
  • Expertise in design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, etc.).
  • Exceptional creativity and innovation in digital design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in digital design and technology, as well as a solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
  • Knowledge of data feeds, HTML, CSS, JS and HTML5.
