Role Details: Derby Based Full time on site 6-month Contract Negotiable rates Inside IR35 45 Hours Per weekAbout the Role: The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently looking for a Site Manager in a leading Civil Engineering Business, that offers services within the nuclear sector. Key Responsibilities Safely and sustainably deliver the construction works. Manage site resources to deliver the construction activity. Monitor works to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Produce required records promptly. Effectively manage and care for the people delivering the work Support/Assist the Project Manager/Project Director in delivering the project. Determine the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements, objectives, and constraints. Lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve a common goal.What You Need to Succeed Experience: 2+ years of experience in implementing safe systems of work, managing risks and change processes, and a good understanding of standard forms of contracts Commercial Awareness: Proficient in commercial/project management communications, able to identify elements for cost recovery from others, and incorporate operational and commercial constraints into decision making. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation, negotiate and influence, and discuss ideas and plans competently. Leadership Skills: Motivate and empower the team using training, mentoring, and performance management, and produce plans to achieve goals/aspirations. Analytical Skills: Ability to initiate good scope/information/configuration management principles, help ensure reports provide relevant information to enable informed decisions, and implement technical information and drawings into delivery. Health & Safety: Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm, keep up to date with changes in legislation, and promote observation and safety initiatives.
