Business Development Manager
Blackburn, Preston, Blackpool
GBP45,000 + GBP10,000 OTE
This business is looking to add a Business Development Manager in an existing territory that has a turnover of 1Million. The role would be responsible for 60% Account Management and 40% New Business.
You will have a defined territory which includes Blackburn, Preston and Blackpool. The role is remote, and field based.
Ideally you will be from a Technical/Engineering background.
As a business Development Manager your duties will include:
- Managing Key Accounts in a defined territory
- Developing New Business Opportunities
- Planning workload effectively to ensure customer satisfaction is obtained.
- Working towards the budget set by the business
- Reporting KPI s to management and updating the CRM system to achieve a clear record.
- Tendering for business opportunities to company price guidelines
- Using your consultative selling experience to obtain information and make suggestions for customers.
- Attend business meeting to discuss opportunities and resources required.
- Communicate with internal departments for customer order fulfilments.
- Update customers on orders and manage the relationship to obtain repeat business opportunities.
- Identify upselling opportunities and cross selling.
