Contract Type: Permanent
You will lead and motivate a team of Healthcare Assistants and Donor Care Supervisor(s) to provide and deliver a high standard of personal care. You will use your clinical judgement to make decisions about donor suitability to meet our regulatory and governance requirements.
Maintaining your professional development to help us deliver improvements to our practice.
On a shift basis but, the normal hours for this role are 4 days per week/8 days per fortnight. Early shifts start at 07:30 and finish 16:40. Late shifts start at 11:45 and finish 21:15 this could be later dependant on how busy the session is, this will be 9.This role is mainly late shifts.
The working days are Monday – Friday, weekends off (excluding Bank Holidays). Weekend and bank holiday working will be required as needed. Demonstrate leadership qualities and understand the principles of best practice to deliver high quality care.
Have experience of supporting the professional development of others.
Have an understanding of clinical audit and research.
Have an awareness of patient safety initiatives and risk management.
Have experience of working with Information Technology such as hand-held devices and Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Qualifications and Training
Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration (which must be maintained) as Registered Nurse – Adult.
Have a valid driving licence and access to a car (or lease car if applicable).
