We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Pricing for our fast growing Mobility and Experiences (‘M&E’) business reporting into the Director of Commericial Intelligence / Managing Director of Mobility and Experiences.

You will have overall responsibility for designing, monitoring and adapting pricing strategies to optimize the Mobility and Experiences business line revenue and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead teams to provide pricing expertise and analysis to make pricing decisions across all M&E products, clients and distribution regions.
  • Develop and project-lead research, analysis, and reporting that facilitates assessments of pricing performance and aides in the identification of improvement opportunities and spotlights needs for corrective action.
  • Coordinate with other teams as a consumer of market trends, competitive intelligence, and sales performance data;
  • Assess and recommend opportunities for testing new pricing tactics; support Sales team education and roll-out, monitor performance and advise when proven improvements should be implemented more broadly
  • Implement recommended pricing strategies, managing all aspects of change management across the business and our clients;
  • Lead M&E input into group pricing strategies and projects for bundled product offerings.

Deliverables:

  • Develop a Price Strategy: Create a pricing strategy to maximize both market potential & client profitability and minimize client demand surplus.
  • Design a framework for monitoring the pricing strategy
  • Partner with stakeholders such as Sales, Finance, Sourcing, and analytics to implement the framework.
  • Leverage resources for research & analysis: Partner with analytics teams to provide analysis on our pricing performance to drive data-driven decision making. Provide guidance to the analytics team on the desired approach and output and be able to understand and assess the results. Work with various teams to assess the results of regional sales performance and market research teams.
  • Partner with regional teams in reviewing competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with analytics teams to assess the success of the program.
  • Act as the business line expert on pricing: Bring expertise in pricing strategies and act as consultant to the business providing both expert advice on test pricing methodologies as well as executing the strategy in the business.
  • Advise & Recommend: Provide performance assessments of pricing and recommendations on changes to pricing, pricing strategy and competitive positioning relative to pricing.

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience of working in a matrix structure and collaborate with cross functional teams to influence successful implementation of the strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of pricing strategies in a B2B company
  • Superb business acumen
  • Comfort working with varying teams and seniority levels
  • Excellent understanding of how to interpret statistical and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of data process to manage projects with Analytics team.
  • Successful in making and informing data-driven decisions
  • Expert Excel knowledge
  • Understanding of analytical methods to substantiate recommendations and decisions
  • Experience in change management
  • Master’s degree in business or other applicable discipline
  • Hands-on analytical experience
  • Power BI or comparable BI software (Tableau, Looker, Qlik, etc)
  • SQL, R, Python or equivalent statistical modeling tools (e.g., Regress, SAS, etc)
