Human Factors Engineer Location: Cambridgeshire Job Type: Permanent Salary: £60,000 DOE Industry: Regulated Product Design What we can offer you Above-statutory Pension Scheme and Holiday Entitlement, Private Health Plan for you and your Family, Bonus Scheme, Hybrid Working About the opportunity My client are a market leader in the Design and Manufacture of Regulated Products for use in Safety Critical Environments. You will play a lead role in applying Human Factors / Ergonomic Design theory to ensure that products are designed in line with Safety, Compliance and Regulatory requirements. Deliverables
- Produce Human Factors Technical Documents
- Understand and work to defined standards to ensure compliance with Quality and Regulatory requirements for Human Factors
- Identify areas of poor ergonomic design and make recommendations for improvements
- Relevant Degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics or related discipline
- At least 2 years’ experience in Human Factors, working in a regulated industry e.g. Military, Aerospace, Rail etc.
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
