Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated individual with a passion for education? We are seeking a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant secondary school in Ramsgate, Kent, starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on young people's lives in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work alongside teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities to individuals or small groups.

* Support in delivering lessons and covering classes in the absence of teachers, following pre-planned materials.

* Provide additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential.

* Assist in managing student behavior, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and helping to adapt learning strategies accordingly.

* Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs) and implement personalized support strategies.

* Support the wider school community in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

* HLTA qualification or equivalent.

* Experience working with students in a secondary school setting.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

* A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their best.

* Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

* Knowledge of SEN and how to support students with additional needs is desirable
