The Six Bells is a vibrant establishment located in the heart of Shinfield. We are renowned for our authentic North Indian cuisine, served in a warm and welcoming pub atmosphere. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Indian Curry Chef to join our kitchen team.

As an Indian Curry Chef at The Six Bells, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a diverse range of Indian curry dishes to meet customer demand. We are specifically seeking a specialist in North Indian cuisine, with expertise in traditional recipes and cooking techniques.

• Prepare and cook a variety of North Indian curry dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection, meeting quality, portion size, and presentation guidelines.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of traditional Indian curry flavours and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Uphold high standards of food quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

• Proven experience as an Indian Curry Chef, preferably specialising in North Indian cuisine.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking methods.
• Strong culinary skills with the ability to create authentic and flavourful dishes.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Competitive salary of £26,200 per annum.
