Care Coordinator

We recruiting an experienced Care Coordinator to work closely together with our small friendly office team and team of carers. The role includes: coordinating carers’ and customers’ schedules; responding to existing customers and carers; handling new potential customer enquiries and matching these to carers’ availabilities; recruitment and interviewing of new carers; carrying out carer supervisions/appraisals and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. - Care coordinating experience.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to engage quickly, effectively and in a friendly, professional manner with anyone.
- Computer literate – ability to use Access People Planner and Access Care Planning (respectively our rostering and electronic care management systems), as well as being confident using all Microsoft Office 365 software.
- Highly accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
- Well-organised, and a good time manager, able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Real-time problem-solving skills, intelligent and comfortable with working under time pressure.
- Good office administration/filing; enthusiastic and happy to “muck-in” with all office tasks and activities.
- Live within the London Borough of Wandsworth, or close by.
