Are you a Finance Manager with previous experience in a sole charge role seeking a six-month contract based in Shoreditch?

Our client a media company based in Shoreditch is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a six-month fixed term contract. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day finance function reporting to the directors and working closely with the external accountants to meet the year end statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management reports and weekly cashflow forecasts. Liaising with external accountants on a frequent basis for quarterly management reporting.
  • Working in a sole charge role covering all aspects of Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable.
  • Overseeing debt collection and accounts receivable.
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices and overseeing debt collection and accounts receivable
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of expenses, petty cash, bank accounts and credit card statements.
  • Quarterly VAT returns for eight companies within the group – HMRC Submissions
  • Intercompany reconciliations, billings, invoicing and balances
  • Complete month end reconciliations.
  • Working closely with the external accountants to ensure that the company meets all statutory and regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA/AAT or qualified by experience
  • Competitive market salary based on experience.
  • Ideally have previous experience using Xero
