Job Description Summary
Working as part of a multi-disciplined team, the candidate will contribute to electronics hardware development activities for complex power distribution, control and displays products across a range of programs. The successful candidate will apply their experience and expertise to understand product requirements and provide robust engineering solutions, in alignment with business objectives, to delight the customer.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Apply solid engineering principles to electronics design, analysis, and verification activities, compliant to robust product requirements and relevant business practices and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to contribute to the achievement of project schedule and cost targets
  • Technical documentation consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Develop technical expertise and competence
  • Participation in technical and customer reviews as required
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Relevant Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
  • Familiar with schematic/PCB and Circuit Simulation tools
  • Problem solving and solution building skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate basic design concepts - both orally and written
  • Willing to work on military platforms
  • Collaborative team player
Desirable Characteristics
  • Interest in electronics design for aviation
  • Aware of engineering tools such as Xpedition, SIMetrix, DOORS, Windchill
  • Some awareness of Design for Manufacture/Test (DFM/DFT) considerationsAble to articulate concerns.
