We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic IT engineer to join our voice communications team. The team are responsible for all communications equipment within the trust - including radios, mobile phones/tablets, telephony, and call recording, across our three busy call centres and ambulance fleet.


The post will be based at our Trust Headquarters with scope for flexible working, although the post holder will be required to be mobile to support our staff across Yorkshire and Humber.
The post holder will primarily be supporting the rollout and management of radios and associated communications equipment in ambulances. You will require good project management, communication, and administrative skills.


This will be a key role supporting the transition of incidents from 1st/2ndline to 3rdline, working and supporting colleagues across the trust to help deliver an emergency service.

Providing operational support for the day-to-day provision of the communications systems, adopting ITIL best practices across Change, Problem, Capacity and Availability Management.
Support the management and rollout of communication devices. Manage walk up activity and act as the interface into the wider voice communications team.
Continually monitor service performance, taking timely and effective action to ensure agreed performance levels are maintained or exceeded.
Assist in delivering Trust projects and to manage specific ICT projects.
