As a Scheme Assistant at Longhurst Group, you will provide a front-line service and assist with the management of our Older Persons schemes, ensuring a well-managed and secure environment for our customers. Further key responsibilities are listed below: * Manage the day-to-day service delivery of two older person schemes (The Lodge and Dolphin Court) acting as a point of contact for our residents enabling them to live independently. * Helping to engage residents, hold and minute meetings, supporting in the creation of community. * Support residents and raise any wellbeing concerns to manager or relevant team. * Help customers in relation to housing management and maintenance issues. * Reporting, and monitoring building repairs through to completion. * Support with viewings for new customers, and help customers settle into the schemes. * Complete site compliance checks / premise inspections. * Identifying anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns and referring through to the relevant teams or agencies. In order to be successful in application for our Scheme Assistant role, you will possess a passion for working with people, and who can bring people together as a community within the schemes. We’re open to considering individuals new to, or with experience of a similar role from within supported living, or housing sectors. Our ideal applicants will be curious, comfortable with lone working, and have experience of working with Microsoft Packages. Our Scheme Assistant position is a scheme-based position, contracted to 21 hours per week at The Lodge, Oakham and Dolphin Court, Uppingham.
