IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

The Business Analyst will play a key role in the software development lifecycle and will collaborate across our Development, Implementation and Customer Success teams and customers. This position will specifically support the development of new Foods Connected products as well as updates for existing products. The Business Analyst will be heavily involved in documentation, testing, and training. You will gather feature requirements and assess the suitability of features for intended outcomes. Ensuring the release of effective, high quality product enhancements, you will document key decisions during meetings with engineers and lead testing efforts. Lastly, you will provide customers end-user and feature-based training, ensuring they are receiving maximum value from products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Actively engage product owner or business SME to translate solution needs into actionable user stories.
• Facilitate and support product backlog management.
• Collaborate with development on reviewing user stories for understanding and scoring.
• Executing plans to test business and functional processes during product development and quality assurance testing.
• Performing implementation problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Attending meetings with engineers and business analysts, owning meeting documentation by capturing key decisions.
• Collaborating with content specialists, sales and marketing, business analysts, etc. to communicate product information.
• Conducting product training for new and existing users.
• Understand business implications of observations, interviews, and analyses.
• Craft polished written communications and deliver oral communications of findings and recommendations in an effective and efficient manner.
• Collaborate positively with project stakeholders to secure support and implement recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years' relevant experience;
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• 4 years of relevant experience in business analysis-related roles.
• Prior experience working at a tech company or working with complex, enterprise-wide technology.
• Prior experience working at a software company or working with complex, enterprise-wide technology.

Experience Required:

To perform this job successfully, the Business Analyst should have experience with:
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Knowledge of SaaS application concepts and the SDLC.
• Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA, Github).
• Collaboration and communication tools: Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
