We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to upholster furniture from start to finish (no sewing needed) to join our team in Telford.
The Upholsterer will be responsible for repairing and restoring furniture by installing new fabric, padding, and springs.
Salary: £14 to £20ph depending on experience
Measure, cut, and sew fabric to upholster furniture pieces
- Inspect furniture frames for any damages or defects
- Fabricate cushions, pillows, and other upholstery items
- Assemble pre-cut wooden parts to form furniture frames
- Perform heavy lifting when moving furniture pieces
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the upholstery area
Mechanical knowledge to understand furniture construction
- Ability to fabricate and assemble furniture components
- Capable of heavy lifting when handling furniture pieces
