Position Overview:

As an AV Events Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of audio visual setups for events of all scales. From corporate conferences and product launches to live performances and weddings, you will leverage your technical expertise to create immersive and unforgettable experiences for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and dismantle audio visual equipment including sound systems, lighting rigs, projectors, screens, and other technical components as required for events. Conduct thorough equipment checks before each event to ensure functionality and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise. Collaborate with event planners, clients, and other team members to understand their audio visual needs and provide expert recommendations. Monitor audio visual systems during events to ensure optimal performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality. Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting throughout the duration of events, addressing any issues promptly and effectively. Maintain an inventory of audio visual equipment, ensuring proper storage, maintenance, and organization. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in audio visual production, preferably in a live events environment. Proficiency in operating a wide range of audio visual equipment, including sound systems, lighting fixtures, projectors, and video displays. Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
