We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Electrical Repairs Team Coordinator to join our Repairs and Maintenance department. As a Repairs Team Coordinator (Electrical), you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing electrical repairs and maintenance activities , ensuring high-quality work and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Repairs Team Coordinator include:
Coordinating electrical repairs and maintenance activities, including managing technicians and subcontractors
To ensure electrical works are carried out to a high quality standard, in accordance with all health and safety legislation and within the prescribed targeted timescales
Monitoring and appraising the performance of staff and subcontractors
Promote and embed the provision of a customer focused, efficient and cost-effective service, achieving a quality, right first time service
To be responsible for the support and coordination of the technicians providing the Together Housing Group out of hours emergency rota
Advise the Property Managers of occasions and reasons where sub contractor labour may be required. Arranging quotations from sub contractors for specialist electrical works, coordinate with the planners in regards to placing the works order

Full current Driving Licence
Electrical qualifications and certifications are required, e.g. NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant electrical application
Experience in leading a team and managing electrical repairs and maintenance
Working knowledge of electrical trades and regulations
Experience of dealing with issues of poor electrical performance
Ability to use IT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Demonstrable experience in the construction/housing sector
