Our client, a high-growth Scottish technology company who believe that technology is here to help people to live happier, safer and healthier lives are looking for and R&D Engineer to join their team, based in Stirling with flexible working possible.
This is an R&D position with a broad remit and requires the individual to be capable of understanding all aspects of sensor systems including related electronics/mechanics.
Specify electronic, mechanical and software requirements for sensor systems
Experimental testing of prototype systems and reporting results
Writing software to drive, investigate and integrate sensor systems
Scientific and systems analysis of sensors, sensor systems and their capabilities
Electronics Hardware fault finding and investigations
Software skills - Matlab/Python, good to have C but not essential
