Job Description

I am working closely with a few excellent firms in London seeking court of protection associates to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal support and guidance in matters related to the Court of Protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice and representation in Court of Protection matters, including but not limited to deputyship applications, statutory wills, and property and affairs applications.
  2. Manage a caseload independently, ensuring all deadlines and client expectations are met.
  3. Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with developments in Court of Protection law and procedure.
  4. Draft legal documents, including witness statements, court applications, and correspondence with clients and third parties.
  5. Attend court hearings and conferences, representing clients effectively and professionally.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients' needs.
