A market-leading Specialist Insurance Company is looking to appoint a Senior Technical Underwriter to support the continued growth and development of their Commercial Underwriting team.
Reporting to the Head of Underwriting, the Senior Technical Underwriter will play a key in underwriting larger and more complex property and liability risks.
Delivering both new business and renewalgrowth plans by focusing on larger and more complex Property and Liability risks that fall outside the existing Underwriting model.
Working closely with Key Account Managers and the Underwriting team to grow and manage broker relations.
Support the Head of Underwriting with governance, insurer relations, training, and other ad hoc tasks.
Extensive Commercial Property or Liability underwriting experience.
In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.
~26 days annual leave plus bank holidays

~ Hybrid working - 2 days / week in the office.
