AIKNIT is an early-stage wearable device start up that fuses digital material practices, cutting edge technology and a deep empathy for the human body to create a paradigm shifting experience in the approach to healing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.

The wearable devices are customizable, tailor-made and adaptive to an individual’s body shape, size and condition, with a wider user experience for the patients.

Network of clinicians (occupational and hand therapists)
· A team of designers (textile, product and computational designers)
· Network of mentors, expert coaches and advisors across the medical and sports sector

AIKNIT is seeking a highly motivated Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to support our AIKNIT R&D function. We are looking for someone who shares our mission and is committed to its success, is passionate about building world-class products, processes and strategies, is comfortable collaborating as part of a team, communicating directly with senior leaders and stakeholders, and working independently.

In this position, the CCO will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy of the organisation. The CCO reports directly to the CEO and ensures the integrated commercial success of the company. The role should combine technical knowledge of the field with strong marketing and business development skills.

A commercial Co-founder with proven experience (5+ years):
· Building and scaling B2B & B2C wearable device products across the medical and sports sector
· Minimum 5 years of professional commercial experience within the medical or sports sector
· You are passionate about building profitable ‘impact - focused’ startups
· Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines

This is a full-time role, available for an immediate start. Given the timeline we’re working to, we can’t consider visas at the moment. Meetings will take place 2-3 days/week in person, at London Euston Office.
