Our main offices are based in Bournemouth but the option to work fully remote is also available.

What you’ll be doing:

Essentially, the iOS team make things, fix things, overcome challenging problems, collaborate with others and mentor and help one another But you probably want a bit more detail than that…

  • Building mobile apps that make a real impact on the world with Swift in Xcode
  • Supporting project teams in maintaining apps that are being used by millions of people across the world
  • Problem solving and debugging code
  • Involvement in the whole project process – from estimating through to helping refine designs
  • Collaborating and working with like-minded people across our Creative, Development and Project Management Teams

What we're looking for

  • Great proficiency in the Swift & SwiftUIprogramming languages
  • Knowledge of the iOS SDK, Xcode, and various Apple frameworks such as CoreLocation, MapKit, AVKit etc
  • Experience building layout with SwiftUI and/or UIKit
  • Familiarity with the MVC or MVVM software architecture
  • Good understanding of core programming concepts such as multithreading, networking, memory management (ARC) etc
  • Incredible teamwork and communication skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of software engineering practices and what defines good quality code
  • Experience of using version control systems and peer reviewing code
  • A keen interest in learning new technologies and approaches to building good software
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and automated builds
  • Ideally, experience with React Native, Objective-C, knowledge of Firebase and practical experience of working with Bitbucket and JIRA would be useful but not essential
