Assistant Logistics Manager Required, to join a reputable independently owned logistics service provider based out of their site in Coventry.
Our client provides a renowned service to a number of customers across the UK as well as having dealings in Scotland and Europe. Services offered by the client include Same day UK and European deliveries, Pallet / Parcel distribution and storage facilities which predominantly service the movement of medical equipment and machinery.
Assistant Logistics Manager Position Overview
In this role you will be working alongside the companies Logistics Manager, ensuring that jobs are formulated and carried out to the highest standard as well as ensuring the timely delivery of goods to customers.
Ensuring the team have briefed drivers correctly ahead of delivery.
Assisting with the implementation of storage for products as and when required
Assistant Logistics Manager Position Requirements
Previous experience working within the Same day / Express Logistics sector
Time critical logistics experience
Previous experience planning / routing for 3PL
Experience of Pallet Network Distribution - Highly advantageous

~ Monday to Friday
