Job Description Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Transport Planner to join our Transport team at our Rugby site.
As Transport Planner you will contribute to the success of the transport team, you will be responsible for completing and overseeing the day-to-day planning function of the transport operation. A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a quick and fast-paced environment and be able to deal with day to day challenges in providing an effective transport plan.
This is a full time, permanent position working: Monday - Friday Nights
Job responsibilities of Transport Planner include:
Planning daily workload of fleet: vehicles based on site and out bases
Planning collections per day on a time critical basis
Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business particularly at peak periods during the year
Efficiently utilise the Culina Group network in support Stobarts when volumes dictate.
Qualifications To apply for the role of Transport Planner , you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:
Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Work and Outlook
Customer focus on delivery performance
Experience in an FMCG environment
