Consultant Ecologists

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working may also be available.
My client is a Chartered multi-disciplinary consultancy that specialise in providing environmental assessments, sustainability and energy consultancy services to the construction industry. They work on a wide range of projects, offering expertise in areas such as BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, and energy performance certificates. Their services aim to help clients achieve their sustainability goals and comply with environmental regulations. Due to high demand for ecology services they are looking for an Ecologist to join the team.
Conducting desktop research and GIS mapping.
Taking charge of, organising, and overseeing field surveys, as well as analysing and interpreting the survey findings.
Supervising field activities conducted by others, including resource management (staff, vehicles, equipment, third-party data, contractors).
Previous Ecology experience, preferably in a consultancy environment.
Be willing to attend sites and undertake field work within the UK. Occasional nights away are required.
Experience with BNG conditions assessments, UK Habitats assessments and protected species surveys.
Have a full UK Driving Licence.
