Job Description Legal Counsel - Housing development | National House-builder | Cheshire
This private & family-owned housing developer is searching for an ambitious Property Development lawyer to join their high-performing legal team.
You will be working closely with the General Counsel, focusing on a range of development, housing, and construction matters.
The business is well-renowned in the world of property development, known for being one of the UK's largest contracting businesses that possess an unwavering commitment to home-building and innovative design. With a legacy spanning several decades, they have solidified their position as a leading figure in the UK housing market. You will be managing property acquisitions to secure land for development projects and providing support to the General Counsel. drafting heads of terms, contracts, option agreements, pre-emption agreements, and promotion agreements based on agreed terms.
You will also be actively participating in meetings pertinent to project advancement and conducting site visits to assess development areas.
Furthermore, you will be drafting section 106 agreements, handling Stamp Duty Land Tax documentation, and managing registration applications.
